I'm surprised I got this finished to be honest, I tried to start this idea at least 4 times and gave up past a sketch, but it kept.. nagging at me, so I finally gave in.
I'm happy with the fact I got the colours right considering I lost them/had to re-do them a billion times thanks to.. convenient power cuts
Although the emote was a pain, ended up shading three different oranged to get it right, using a bit of each to make it a smooth change.
The emote was based a lot of how I've felt somewhat recently, I'll leave it for yourself to interpret it past that

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactI absolutely love this piece!! It's got nice contrast, and its message is poignant. I think everyone on Earth has had moments/days/weeks/months or even years of feeling what this simplistic, pixelated scene conveys. It certainly makes me feel less alone in the stress I'm currently trying to cope with and come through the other side.
I would suggest this for a daily deviation if I knew and understood the process of doing so. This is my first critique that I've ever written on DeviantArt, so I am learning bit by bit how to include myself in this community.
My point being this: that I find this art piece to be very well expressed and executed.
